At Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, the following outdoor learning spaces are
available for students and teachers:


The Outdoor Classroom program also sponsors several events, such as Native
American Day in the Spring for 2nd graders.

The Outdoor Classrom spaces are available to support multiple areas of the
curriculum. Some possible activities can be found on the

Activities page. Here are some recent third-grade drawings of the Monticello
Garden in the fall.

Members of the TJ Ecology Club had fun in January  2006 discovering
and mulching around the new pumpkin-shaped trellis near the
trailers. Thanks to parent volunteers
